YIPPEEEEE easily one of my favorites from them <3

I do wanna say, I’ve done my research and heard from many people and know that the music video and outfits this takes inspiration from isn’t that well executed in terms of proper representation. I also know that the song itself is still perceived as nice and fun in isolation! All of which I realize and agree with now.

I’ve also seen people say the outfits DO look gorgeous on them, but that it isn’t a good or accurate representation of the culture regardless. I think it’s nice that the outfits can still be appreciated even in this exaggerated anime form, which tends to make things more revealing 🤭 tho I now understand better why it’s an issue.

I am now speaking on a discussion I’m pretty new to, but I did at least finally look into it quite a bit for this post! I’ve heard people had problems regarding this song before, but I never looked into it. I’m always eager to learn tho, so I’m glad I did! (Which also means that if you have something to add, if I horribly missed something important, please get in touch! I still have so much to learn about the world, but HOPEFULLY I will educate myself on my own before I need someone to explicitly teach me ^^; I have a lot of interest in different cultures from what I’m used to, so know I’ll be open-minded and listen! I’m glad songs like this can exist to celebrate those differences 🥰 Of course, speaking about the song specifically :p)
