Takashi Ohmama – Eri
Now the song I can’t get enough of, this feels so homey <3 While talking to my friend Mike, who introduced me to this series, I compared it to “友情” which is a background track from season 1 of Love Live! School Idol Project, but after giving it some thought I don’t think it hits the same. They have a similar feel and vibe, but “Eri” is just different. I think maybe it just has the feeling of space added to it. Which is a feeling I love. Space could mean many things emotionally. It could imply loneliness, but it can also mean an ending. An ending could be sad or happy. This one feels more happy.
I guess I gotta talk about it now :p Yes I’ve started watching this anime with Mike and would love to get to know the series even more in the future! As for this song, it’s never actually used in the anime as far as I could find at least (I don’t know if season 2 will…) but it IS used in the prologue. Interesting… Eri… Anyway, it’s used as an introduction to an innocent beginning of a life. Something funny about endings is it’s often accompanied by a new beginning. I think this is the feeling I’m sitting with. The feeling of an ending and a beginning. It’s comfortable. It’s exciting. Accomplished but with more to come. I feel happy. If this ends up at the end of season 2 I will cry… Although it being preserved for that moment in the prologue is equally as powerful.
I’m really excited to see more 🥰 I won’t mention this on any socials as I’d like not to be spoiled… But I guess it can’t be helped here. Which is fine, this site wont serve me spoilers since I make everything 🤭 And not many see these posts anyway!
So here’s passion finding its way.
